For reunions, holidays and game night
The tricky part of a family game is that an 8-year-old and an 80-year-old are playing at the same time. Jeopardy handles that well, because you can aim each category at a different part of the table.
A category for every age
Give the kids a category about cartoons and the grandparents one about the 60s. Everyone gets a turn to shine, and nobody sits on the sidelines.

Name that tune, across generations
Play a Beatles song for the grandparents and this year's biggest hit for the teenagers, and watch each side try to name the other's music.

Your family. Your board.
Fill it with family stories and old photos, and let every generation play.
Create a JeopardyMore than a quiz game
Jippis is a social game where everyone talks and argues about the answers together. A great way for cousins, grandparents and the new partner to get to know each other :)
No more "I said it first!"
Everyone buzzes from their own phone, and Jippis shows who was quickest. That settles the arguments, so you can get on to the next question.
Frequently asked questions
How many questions do I need?
As many as you'd like — there's no fixed number. You can stick to the classic six categories with five questions each, or build something smaller or bigger depending on how long you want the game to run.
How difficult should the questions be?
Generally, easier is better. Buzzing in first is a big part of Jeopardy, so reaction time ends up mattering as much as actually knowing the answer — and a room has more fun when most people can answer most of the questions, rather than everyone stalling on hard ones.
How can people join my Jeopardy game?
They join with a game code from their own phone or laptop — no app or account needed. That works whether everyone's in the same room or spread across a video call.
How do I turn this into a board I can actually run?
Open the Jippis creator, paste in whichever categories and clues you want to keep, and set a point value per question.
Can young kids play?
Yes. Put them on a team with an adult who can read the clues aloud, and give them an easy category they can win.
