How to Play Jeopardy

Setup

What you need

A host — and make sure you have the answers to every clue written down.
A shared screen everyone can see — a projector, TV, or laptop — with a board ready to play. Build your own on Jippis.
A device per player or team to buzz in.

Gameplay

Pick a clue
The host picks who goes first. That player chooses a category and point value — say, "Geography for 300."

Race to buzz
The clue appears and everyone races to buzz in. First team to buzz gets to answer.

Answer for points
Right answer earns the points. Wrong answer loses them — and the other teams can buzz in for a chance to answer.

Keep going
Whoever answered correctly picks the next clue. Play until the board is cleared — or jump straight to Final Jeopardy.

The finale

One last clue. One chance to change everything.

The category is announced before the clue is shown.
Every team wagers anything from nothing up to their whole score.
The clue appears and everyone writes privately.
When time is up, each player's answer is revealed and wagers are added or subtracted.

A team in third place can win it all if they bet big and the leaders play it safe.

The twist

A hidden cluetucked somewhere on the board — no one knows where until it's picked.
Whoever uncovers it wagers first, before the clue is shown — up to their current score.
Only that player answers — no buzzing. Right wins the wager, wrong loses it.
