Team Building Jeopardy: Categories and Sample Clues for Work
Most team building games feel like team building games. A round of Jeopardy about the people in the room doesn't, because everyone wants to know who has lived in three countries and who orders the oat milk cortado. It works as a warm-up for a team meeting, at an offsite, or as the main event at the office party.
The clues here are templates. Tick the ones you like, and we'll put them on a board in the Jippis creator, where you fill in your team's real answers. Everyone buzzes in on their phones, so it works just as well on a video call.
Who Is It?
Send a short form a few days before and ask everyone for a fun fact. Each clue is one fact, and the answer is the coworker.
Whose Order Is It?
Habits everyone has seen but nobody has written down. It's surprisingly hard.
Company Lore
Good for onboarding new people, and the old-timers love proving they remember.
Office Speak
Acronyms and jargon everyone uses and nobody explains. Read the clue, and teams answer with what it stands for.
Random Trivia
Keep one general category so the new hire and the person who just transferred in can score too.
Only use facts people sent in themselves, and keep it light. The goal is that everyone leaves knowing a bit more about each other, not that someone's embarrassing story gets read out in front of their manager.
